My friend gave me a link as a great guide of this new (for me especially) city:
“Tel Aviv – City Guide for Hipsters”
First, I was knocked over by the high prices. Then, yes hipster neighborhoods, startups, Bauhaus architectures, under-construction buildings, cafés, beachs, street cats, 24h breakfast places… My parents would never know. But an old guitarist was complaining about their country’s military budget.
Graffiti here seemed more to be poems, thoughts, or phylosophy. This beautiful girl, Efrat, told me the meanings of those. She is back from the US and now rediscovering her hometown through graffiti.
Shalom! Mah Nishma? (Hello! How are you?)

Somehow I haven’t made any effort to find a good print shop for custom T-shits in Berlin. I was just lucky enough to find one in my very neighborhood…
- Fast, Reasonable, Enjoyable.
A man was asking to change the design of “Kreuzberg 60″ T-shirt on display into “XXXXX 80″, so that he could make a gift for his father’s 80th birthday.
As they said they accept my own design too, I gave a vector file of “Summer of Beer” and it was converted immediately into a cutting data. Then we chose a plain T-shirt and the printing material, gold colored rubber. print cut. heat press. 10 min! The T-shirt cost 8 Euro and 12 Euro for the print. such a fun experience for 20 Euro:D Of course, not only for the entertainment, I’m very satisfied with the result itself. Especially I like rubber print (than direct inkjet), for it’s brilliance and tolerance for washing..
Result of “your favorite 夏summer design”. Thank you!! Japanese associate summer with beer but Berliners may think beer is for all year round. *as for the expression of “non-japanese”, I never meant to be rude! just want to show this apparent tendency.
◯ PLEASE VOTE: These 16 designs below are all based on the same Kanji character “夏”, meaning summer. I would be so happy if you tell me your favorite one!

Tenerife, largest island of the Canary Islands. This seashore reminds me of the sea of Japan(日本海), especially the melancholic sea of Enka(演歌 : japanese traditional sentimental songs) » sea of Enka
I found also..
the mountain of Japan?!
Mount Teide, looks like Mount Fuji(富士山). I believe japanese tuna fishermen here remember Japan every time they see this volcano. *The restaurant FUJI is in the Gran Canaria. This is where we got Tuna and other japanese dishes.
This huge volcano causes enormous fog wave over the town. looks like Tsunami..
Well, then, these brilliant colors assured me that I was in Spain.
